Meredith is in surgery. She was in great spirits this morning-laughing and happy. She was a good patient when they started her IV (even though it took a few tries with her tricky veins). I will update when we hear from the surgeon in the middle of the surgery.
Meredith, my thoughts and prayers are with you. May the Great Physician lay his amazing healing powers on you. He has kept my mother cancer free for over 20 years and I know he can do the same for you. Alyson, I know she is grateful you are there. Strength and support from friends is very comforting. Please reminder her of the song she probably sung in church many years ago..."My God is so big, so strong, and so mighty. There is nothing my God cannot do." (Make sure you do the arm motions while singing it, it adds something to it.)

ReplyDeletePrayers going up from the Chapman's for Meredith, her precious family and wonderful friends! Thanks for updating and letting us know how best to pray!
ReplyDeleteMeredith, I'm praying for you continually and know that the Lord will be with you every minute as He guides the surgeon's hands this morning. May His loving Spirit continue to sustain you and your precious family, and may your amazing positive attitude and infectious smile continue to be a blessing to others as you navigate these unknown waters with our God! Love, Margie noble
